Descrição
I got a RasPi running Octoprint to turn my Solidoodle into a networked 3D printer. I had already gotten rid of the spool holder for a new design, so I decided to use those four holes to mount the RasPi to the case.
This design is a modified base half for http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:79036 (identical except for position of mounting tabs and holes). You can mount in either orientation.
Instruções
- Print base from here.
- Print top cover from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:79036.
- Remove spool holder bracket and mount case instead (same screws will work fine); you will likely need to clean/drill the holes a bit.
I would suggest putting some electrical tape on top of the interior screws to be safe (although the holes are sunk in, so clearance should be enough to avoid problems even with the original socket cap screws). Or you can skip those two screws entirely, or switch to pan-head ones. Also, the tabs are about 1-1.5mm thinner than the spool clip, so you could put standoffs between case and frame if you're worried about ventilation (seems just fine without, though).
Tested with RasPi Rev. B. SCAD source file requires STL for original base from source thing in order to compile.
