This thing is a tool holder for electronics workbenches. It is designed to be expandable to as many bays as needed, and the top panel can be changed in each bay to fit your tool needs.

more expansion kits will be coming. The first revision is a little small, but functional. I will think of some modifications and post more expansion kits.

Update 2: Revision 2 is posted, but not yet tested. The bottom of R2 trays are designed to be large enough for square Post-it notes.

I also added an insert box that works with R2.

Update 2.1: I cut the parts for R2, and found a few small errors. R2.1 is now posted with the corrections.

laser cut as many bays as you want out of 3mm material. The starter stand includes 3 bays and 4 side walls.

The solder tool stand has a solder spool holder built into the side walls, and a custom front pane for the solder to exit from. It also includes two options for the top tool holder.

Glue together and optionally add feet. See pictures for assembly process. . If you want to expand it later, cut out more expansion kits.

Update for R2 - Cut either of the R2 Base Units, and then as many Expansion and Top kits as you want for additional bays. The base unit makes one complete section, and an expansion and Top set are needed for each additional bay. R2 does not require glue, but can be glued for sturdier construction.
