This is a customizable Sub-Kick Microphone that I made.

Be sure to download the latest version before you print it. There are likely changes!

By default the .scad file is configured for a "Tang Band W6-1139SIF" speaker that I had kicking around. That's the one in the pictures.

• When purchasing a speaker, look for a speaker that has a low resonant frequency (Think 20-60 hz kinda range).

• Sealed back speakers are unsuitable for this application (I believe?).

Easiest to open the "sub_kick_maker.scad" file in OpenSCAD (freeware) and change the variables there rather than in the customizer.

You will require:

• A Speaker
• A Neutrik (or likely any brand) D Series XLR Male Jack
• Some nuts and bolts
• Some wires and solder
• You'll likely also want to add a simple circuit to attenuate the signal that the sub-mic puts out by about 20 db.

Should require no support for printing when properly oriented.
