Descrição
Includes two funnels and three packing tools. Designed to snugly fit the Pax 2 or Pax 3 vaporizer.
- The larger funnel should fit a small grinder (with a diameter of 2" or 5cm).
- The smaller funnel should fit a Magic Flight Finishing Grinder.
- The first packing tool is designed to be used with either of the funnels.
- The second packing tool is designed for standalone use.
- The third packing tool is designed solely for the task of repacking the oven.
Another great way to repack the oven is to jam the funnel packer into the funnel to create a temporary bowl, then empty the oven onto the flat surface of the funnel tamper, and crush and spread the contents around using the Pax oven cover. Then just place the funnel into the Pax and remove the tamper.
Instruções
Everything is printable as-is. I recommend using a larger raft for the standalone packing tools.
Regarding the repacking tool:
####Why? After each session, once the material has cooled, I repack the oven in order distribute the heat more evenly through the material. This can easily become a messy task.
The best way I've found to do it is to jam the funnel packer into the funnel to create a temporary bowl, then empty the oven onto the flat surface of the funnel tamper (usually by giving it a few solid taps), and crush and spread the contents around using the Pax oven cover. Then, I'd attach the funnel to the Pax and remove the tamper, allowing the material to funnel back into the oven, then repack.
However, the funnel and tamper are not fun to carry in your pocket, so I designed a more portable tool specifically for this task. It needed to act as a bowl to allow the material room to be stirred, but also allow a tamper to repack the material. I tried a couple ideas, and the better involved sliding the tamper and funnel together to form the bowl.
####How? Method 1: Put the fully assembled repacker in the Pax, turn it oven-end-down, and gently tap on a hard surface to loosen the material and allow it to fall into the repacker. Unfortunately, you won't be able to tell when the material has fallen into the repacker without carefully taking a potentially messy peek.
Method 2: Attach only the top part of the repacker to the Pax, then use a knife to break up the material. Attach the bottom part of the repacker, turn it oven-end-down, and give it a single, gentle tap.
Then: Once the material is inside the repacker, stir it up using the Pax oven cover (or a pen, pencil, knife, etc.). I also hold my finger over the opening and give it a few shakes. Then just re-attach the Pax, flip it, detach the repacker's bottom, and use its small end to re-pack the material. I recommend fully inserting and fully removing it a few times in order to allow all the material to fully funnel back into the oven.
