Designed this to use as a pre filter for a few pond pumps. The box measures roughly 4 inches by 4 inches. It features holes on 4 of the sides. The lid is easily removable to replace filter material. I will upload other size attachments but simply print out the attachment size you need (1/2", 5/8", 3/4"...) screw it into the pre filter tightly (don't over tighten!) you may use a few dabs of glue if you wish and then screw the other side into your pump (DO NOT use glue on the pump). Be sure not to fully tighten to the pump inlet or else you may have trouble removing it.

The lid may need to be lightly sanded for smoother fit depending on your settings. Hope this helps others!

PLEASE NOTE, I have no clue the side effect of introducing PLA (or abs, or any other printing material) into your pond or aquarium. Use at your own risk.

Uploaded a revised version of the box with more tolerance for the lid so you should need less sanding for a good fit.

Print out the box and lid. The box accepts a 1/2" MPT fitting very common. The other size will depend on your pump's need. I have uploaded a 5/8 and 3/4.

The lid may need some minor sanding for fitment purposes.

Fill with your mechanical filter material and let it run.
