Descrição
This is my entry for the #MakeItFloat challenge. I named it "Balloon Boy" for pretty obvious reasons. It uses 3 stabilizers that are printed at 0% infill (hollow) at 0.1 mm layer height. The boat itself is also printed in this fashion. The balloons I used were simple water balloons. I used 5 pumps of air from my manual balloon pump, however, you will most likely use a different pump, so experiment with different values. It can hold about 50-60 pennies depending on the # of pumps on the balloons.

How to Put Together your Very Own "Balloon Boy" Boat
-
Print the "Balloon_Boy.stl" file along with the "Balloon Boy Stablizer V2" files (3 stabilizers) at 0.1 mm layer height and 0% infill for both files
-
Use your glue of choice (I used super glue) to place the stabilizers in a |_| shape on the bottom of the boat (the _ is the back of the boat).
-
Pump up 8 balloons and put the ends through the holes on the sides of the boat with the knot pulled all the way through.
-
Get a water source and try it out!
