This is a project that we are working on at Idaho State University in the Robotics and Communications program. We first designed it in Autocad and are now working the the programming. Plactics
We printed this using ABS plastics with a 10% fill. To add strength to the plastic we used kite rods as a internal structure.
Electronics
We used 6 electrifly brushless motors and ESC to fly this. We designed our own printed circuit board with a PIC 32 to control the communication, PWM, and read sensors.
