Descrição
After seeing Landru's "Printable Model Rocket for 24mm Estes D motors" ( http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:8754 ), I really liked the idea of a printable model rocket. However, because I wanted to use it as a display model, the rocket didn't need to have a motor mount or be as large and Landru's. After a couple of hours of designing and a few test prints, here it is! As a bonus, it functions pretty well as a pencil holder.
Overall it takes somewhere around 3 and 1/2 hours to print, with each part at about 1 hr, but this will all depend on your printer's speed.
Instruções
Print out one of each of the following parts: Base.stl, Body.stl, and NoseCone.stl If you end up with a vertical gap on the nose cone, try setting the extra shells in skeinforge to 0. All the parts press fit together, the tension between them should hold the rocket together.
