The lights for the PiClop need some diffusers to eliminate hot spots on your scan object.

I created these once that use a white plastic shopping for the diffuser medium.

Cut a piece of plastic bag the size of the outer ring and assemble.

The diffuser should slide slide onto the front of the lights.
