I tried how tiny I could make it, and it was hard to clean without breaking, but works ;-) The upscaled version has a bit too much play, but before fixing the file, I will try to see if the paint coating will compensate the issue.

UPDATE 1: File "Caliper4a.skp" added, which has some minor modifications and text description. Modifications are: 0.1mm+0.1mm+0.1mm thicker 150% version of the caliper, different loop orientation. UNTESTED, but from experience, should solve most isues.

Scale, print, mesure ;-) Be real careful with the tiny one, as it easily breaks; The loop on it will not print completely, will need to make it a bit bigger or turn it 90 degrees and place it a bit differently, so the moving caliper part will slide over it.
