I really liked edleps innovative design, but it wouldn't work with the type of hotends that I use.

This remix adds a few features to his design while reducing the number of positions from 4 to 3.
Added screws for more positive retention of the bearing.
Added ability to stretch the internal opening to allow space for pneumatic fittings.
Changed hot end mounting system (designed for typical J-head dimmensions).
Added additional mounting holes for use with a classic rosstock/kossel platform.

I printed this at 0.1mm layers with 50% infill

I've found the easiest way to assemble this is to put the pneumatic fitting on a piece of tubing, place the hot end loosely in the mount and spin the hot end to start the threads. Then tighten down the fitting with whatever tool you have that can reach. Next, tighten down the retaining piece. Finally, feed the leads up through the adjacent holes.

To use the scad files you will need to download the original stl files by edlep and edit the path.

8 3m x 12mm screws
2 3m x 10mm screws
3 3m x 5mm screws
6 3m nuts
7 washers for 3m screws
