Wall Easy Hanging Hook Stud

Mounting modern clocks, barometers and other items often have an Easy Hanging hook slot, which is normally larger in diameter at the bottom and then tapers to a smaller slot on top. Sometimes it is tricky to locate the hole with a normal hook. This stud type one is easy to locate and get into the hole and hang, which I made into 3 different lengths depending on how far back the slot is located in the object you are hanging. The 4mm one worked for me as mine was quite close to the wall but the longer ones might suite other requirements.

I recommend you use a hot glue gun for painted walls or a strong double sided tape for metal surfaces. I find the soft rubber black one very sticky and it does not come loose. This hook is strong and will attach lighter objects like digital clocks and other objects like digital barometers. I would not mount heavy wooden objects on it unless you use something other than PLA as the filament.
