This is a slide together tile based construction system. It is ideal for modeling surfaces in geometry and topology like polyhedra, polysurfaces (many sided surfaces), and monosurfaces (one-sided surfaces). The polysurfaces come in kits and are in the collection Mathematical Construction Systems, Kits, and Sets: https://www.thingiverse.com/APC5/collections/42405859/things Recommendations: set tiles flat and scale to between 1mm height or larger depending on the size of the models you want to build or system you want to create.
