Shock absorber style microphone holder.
Add rubber bands to complete.
The mic holder fits and screws onto microphone stand and camera hot shoe mounts well, adjust with light sanding as required.

Printed with makerbot dual.. makerware 2.01. everything default medium ABS settings.. default (10%) infill works better than expected, no raft.

There is a thin ribbon/strand incorporated into the base of the model.. this is to prevent the initial print layer/sections from moving, even if they haven't all adhered to the print platform , others will usually hold on enough so it prints fine.
Simply cut the thread connecting base parts away at the end.

The rubber bands are rubber washers, available in most hardware stores.
