Modular Laboratory Bracket (Fully 3D Printed)
This is a fully 3D-printable modular bracket system designed for workspaces. We created this project during our course at NaUKMA to solve a common problem: the inconvenience of checking datasheets while working with electronics or robots. This bracket allows you to fix a phone exactly where you need it
Features:
-
100% 3D Printed:No screws, bearings, or magnets required — every single part is printed.
-
Rubber Band Tension:The phone holder uses standard office rubber bands for a secure grip.
-
Modular System:Includes a quick-change system for different attachments.
-
Step-Rotating Mechanism:Provides stable positioning without slipping.
-
Tool-less Assembly:Designed to be easily assembled and scaled for any laboratory desk.
Print Settings
-
Printer: FDM (Bambu Lab A1 or similar)

How it’s made
The system consists of four main modules developed by our team:
-
Desk Mount : A sturdy base that clamps to the table using printed bolts.
-
Step-Rotating Joint : A mechanism that allows incremental movement and secure fixation.
-
Extension Module : Provides two-axis adjustment and extends the reach.
-
Quick-Change Phone Holder : A rack-and-pinion mechanism that securely grips your phone
The entire project was modeled in Fusion 360
