Firebat F1 – Custom Mini PC Case

Material: PETG-CF10
Nozzle: 0.6 mm

Construction

• The bottom part of the enclosure is the original case from the Firebat F1.
• Heat-set threaded inserts from the stock enclosure were reused.
• Fine dust mesh was installed behind the ventilation openings.

Cooling

• Fan: 80 × 10 mm
• Voltage: 12 V
• Power source: USB port

Rubber rings were placed under the fan to slightly increase the clearance and improve airflow. Update:

1. There is an unpopulated connector on the board for a second fan. I’ve added a photo. I used it to connect a cooling fan.
2. Added a STEP file.

Notes

This is my first attempt at designing something more complex than a simple pencil holder.
The design will likely be refined further — there are still several aspects that can be improved.
