Each 2.5” tapered pod stands 4” tall — providing the ideal volume for 4–6 weeks of root development. Deep enough to encourage strong vertical taproot growth. Narrow enough to maintain proper dry-down cycles. Designed to prevent early root binding before transplant.

Integrated Air Pruning

Vertical ventilation channels allow roots to naturally air prune. When roots reach airflow, they branch instead of circling — producing denser, healthier root systems that transplant with less shock and faster recovery.

True Bottom Watering

GrowHIVE 2.0 supports sub-irrigation watering from below, delivering consistent moisture directly to the root zone while keeping the soil surface drier. Less fungus. Less damping off. More uniform growth.

Ventilated Base Architecture

The tray body promotes airflow beneath and around each pod, increasing oxygen exchange at the root level — one of the most overlooked factors in seedling success.
