Enjoy. These are printed face down for a smooth label when using a smooth build plate. When looking for a label, you will need BOTH the main "label" and the "label base". For example, "Hammers" and "Hammers_Base". It takes both to print the label and below you will see why. Thingiverse didn't import in alphabetic order, so it's easiest to do a search (Edit - Find) and look for Hammers. They are printed face down so the texture of the build plate is the face of the label. In this example, I used a smooth build plate so the front of the label is smooth. Very Classy. Just think what a carbon fiber textured build plate would look like. I also added a Blank Base for you to add your own TEXT to for your own custom label.

These are ⅝” tall, 1/16” thick and backed with ½” wide magnet with 3M double stick tape. 3M Magnetic Tape. The magnetic tape is only $5.99 for ½” x 10’ at the time of this printing.

I used Sunlu PLA+ filament in Black and White. My printer is a Bambu A1 with AMS Lite. I am using the smooth build plate. If you are creating your own labels like the ones I made, skip to the end where it says “Tinkercad:” Then come back for the Bambu import instructions.

Bambu import: In Bambu, start a new project. Make sure you have both of the colors you want to use on your AMS Lite. Set the parameters if you like. I normally just use the presets as is, except I like to make sure the “top surface” is set to Ironing Type “top surface”. You can find that under the Process section, select Global. This will make adding the magnet tape an easier process. Import both files, in this example, “Pliers and Pliers Base”, and Bambu will ask you if you want to combine them together into one. Select YES.

In the Process section of Bambu select “Objects”. You will see “Plate 1”. Expand it and it shows the 2 files you imported, make the text White and base Black. When Bambu prints this, the text will be white all the way through. Remember this is printing upside down so the real top of the label will show the texture of your build plate. In my case, I use a smooth build plate and the top of my label prints smooth. Print when ready. It would be cool if someone tried a different texture.
