after I removed the support material I used a hot glue gun to create a gasket between the 2 parts, to seal water out and make them fit perfectly together. grease up the part you dont want the hot glue to stick to, and while glue is still hot press the parts firmly together and allow to cool completely before gently prying apart. I found it helpful to put a small mark on the diamond to help me re align the pieces after that gasket has been made.

for the light I used a submersible LED found at my local craft store, the one I chose is a 32 mm ball style.
