This is a minimal Switch 2 grip cover designed to make the grips more comfortable for longer play sessions. Nintendo did not include these on the Switch 2 (due to the mouse sensors being covered up). However, it makes the grips much more comfortable when holding them for long periods of time. I made these to play Prime 4 using motion controls for camera angle. The grips without covers were uncomfortable for long periods of time.
This print works on both the left and right grip. It is friction mounted, and the normal "release from Switch 2" button works well to get it off. If it is too tight, a bit of light sanding on the inside should make it slip on/off easier. I included pits for magnets if you find it too loose - you can try including some 2-3 mm thick neodymium magnets to hold it in place.
It printed reliably with 0.1 mm layer height in PLA on Ender V3. I would recommend sanding the surface since it is a high-touch surface. However, if you use it un-sanded, the layers have a nice grippy feeling that helps with sweaty palms :)
I have included a couple of pictures pre-sanding and post-sanding. Note that I did not take the time to fully sand everything to a gloss finish.
