This is a remix of the very nice Iris Box, but features a dragon/alien egg like skin. I´m not a pro in Blender so the outcome is not perfect, yet the mechanism works nicely after printing.

It is print in place, but after printing the ring that connects base and top part has to be cut in order to release the closing mechanism. This is shown in the picture.
