This was inspired by a file called Modular Crawling Course on another site. The author was RebelScum. Nice job. I encourage you to seek that file out as well. I, basically, wanted more than the 10 rocks that came with that set. I like the puzzle piece aspect and I wanted my rocks to interface with the ones I already had. I loaded one of those originals, separated the rock from the puzzle base and then searched the web for free files to attach to the puzzle piece. All of the rocks in this set were free downloads from various sites and the models themselves should always be credited to their various authors. All I did was attach the rocks to the puzzle plates. Since these puzzle plates are just copied from the original file, this set of rocks should interlock with the original set.
Additionally, I have uploaded the blank plate here. The value is that you can add your own scenery to an interlocking plate either by adding a 3d file to it if you know how to do that or, alternately, grab some real rocks/"logs" and glue them to the base plate to make your own unique scenery.
I have not tried to print these yet but they are showing that the files are valid. Let me know if something doesn't work and I'll try to fix it. You may or may not need some support on some of these. The shape of the rocks on some of them does have a little overhang and there are at least two files you WILL need some support.
The original course was designed for approx. 1/24 scale and I've found it works well at that scale. This one should be similar and, perhaps, some of the rocks here would also be excellent at 1/30 scale.
I recommend printing with "support everywhere" for most of them. The rock models are contoured and not flat on the bottom. This may cause unseen overhang issues. I may go back later and slice these differently so the bottoms ARE flat but that will have to wait until I print the set myself to see what's needed.
