My little recreation of the Astral Pulse from the game Dispatch! It's not perfectly game accurate and I took some creative liberties to make it easier to print, but it's pretty close. My main thing with this was to get the size/scale correct first, and I believe this is just about right. It's 30mm in diameter and meant to be about 85mm long, but depending on how you build it the length can vary.

Both sides are designed to be connected using pieces of filament cut to length. The "glass" in mine is just a thin piece of clear plastic rolled into a tube from some packaging.

The spirals are made using colored paper, and definitely looks a little different from the game version. The best method to make them at this scale would most likely be resin printing in a semi-translucent material but I do not own one.

I didn't add any internal space for lighting, but it should be possible, albeit difficult, to fit in an led powered by a cr2025 into one or both sides. I think an easier method would be to simply use uv-reactive glow in the dark paints. Mine doesn't glow at all, but some odd combination of external lighting and the particular colors I used make it appear to be in the right light.

Edit: Updated model, split base into internal and external pieces to make assembling MUCH easier. It's now possible to paint and build the internal "core" part first then slide a clear tube around it and hold it in place using the top and bottom external base covers.
