This is a remix of @markwtech's excellent WiTcontroller case. I made a few modifications to better suit my needs:
- I used 7mm buttons because that's what I had on hand. Since these buttons are a bit smaller than the original version, I was able to comfortably fit two more. When you assemble the controller you may need to trim the leads on the backside of the button to ensure they fit within the case.
- I added a little thumb divot to the rotary encoder knob to make large changes in speed easier with one hand. (I also made my knob just a tiny bit smaller so it would fit snugly on the encoders that I had.)
- I made the counter-bore holes on the rotary encoder holder a bit deeper because the screws I had on hand were not long enough to catch
- I added labels to the control itself so I could print these with my AMS. You should color the labels in your slicer (they are slightly depressed so you can use the paint bucket to fill them). I printed the top cover with a 0.2mm nozzle to get the necessary resolution to make the text legible.
If you'd like to change the labels to suit yourself, you can find my version here on TinkerCad
For the seven button wiring, I used the instructions from this other WiTcontroller design.
