Descrição

Filament Tab (Process > Filament)

Nozzle Temperature: 235-245°C (initial layer: 240°C). Higher (up to 255°C) for better flow with high-speed PETG, but lower to reduce stringing. Bed Temperature: 80-90°C (initial layer: 85°C). Ensures adhesion without warping; use textured PEI plate and glue stick if lifting occurs. Max Volumetric Speed: 20 mm³/s (calibrate up to 30 mm³/s for your filament's high-speed rating, but cap lower for quality). Retraction Length: 0.8-1.2 mm (Bowden setup; test 1.0 mm to minimize oozing on threads). Retraction Speed: 40-50 mm/s. Z-Hop Height: 0.2 mm (enables during travel to prevent scarring surfaces). Cooling Fan: 0% for first 3 layers (prevents warping), then 30-50% (enable auxiliary fan at 100% if your enclosure supports it for smoother walls). Filament Flow Ratio: 0.95-1.00 (calibrate via flow test; slight underextrusion helps clean threads).

Quality Tab For precise threads and smooth surfaces:

Layer Height: 0.12-0.2 mm (use 0.16 mm for balance; lower for finer thread detail). Initial Layer Height: 0.2 mm (for better bed adhesion). Line Width: 0.42 mm (standard; initial layer: 0.6 mm for adhesion). Outer Wall: 0.4 mm. Inner Wall: 0.42 mm. Top Surface: 0.4 mm. Infill: 0.45 mm.

Seam: Nearest (or random to hide on threads); Seam Gap: 0.1 mm; Staggered Inner Seams: Enabled. Precision: Slicing Tolerance: Middle. Max Resolution: 0.0125 mm. Wall Generator: Arachne (better for curved threads and smooth contours). Detect Thin Walls: Enabled. Detect Overhanging Walls: Enabled. XY Hole Compensation: -0.05 mm (tightens threads if loose). XY Contour Compensation: 0 mm. Arc Compensation: Enabled.

Ironing: Enabled on all top surfaces; Flow: 10%; Spacing: 0.1 mm; Speed: 20 mm/s (great for smooth, glossy PETG surfaces). Fuzzy Skin: Disabled (avoids rough texture on threads).

Strength Tab Keep lightweight but stable for functional parts like a shower head:

Wall Loops: 3-4 (stronger outer shells for thread durability). Top Shell Layers: 4-5 (or 0.8 mm thickness for smooth tops). Bottom Shell Layers: 4-5 (or 0.8 mm thickness for stability). Sparse Infill Density: 15-20% (Gyroid pattern for strength without weight; angle: 45°). Internal Solid Infill: Monotonic pattern; angle: 45°. Bridging: Flow: 80%; Speed: 30 mm/s (if holes in head need bridging).

Speed Tab Slow down for quality—high-speed filament allows faster infill, but reduce for walls/threads:

Outer Wall: 40-60 mm/s (slower for smooth finishes). Inner Wall: 50-70 mm/s. Top Surface: 30-40 mm/s (critical for smooth head surface). Sparse Infill: 100-200 mm/s (leverage high-speed capability here). Solid Infill: 40-60 mm/s. Travel: 150-200 mm/s. Initial Layer: 20 mm/s. When Too Slow: Minimum Layer Time: 10 s; Slow Down for Cooling: Enabled. Acceleration: Outer Wall: 3000 mm/s². Inner Wall: 4000 mm/s². Top Surface: 2000 mm/s². Infill: 5000 mm/s². Travel: 6000 mm/s². Initial Layer: 1000 mm/s².

Jerk: Outer Wall: 8 mm/s. Inner Wall: 10 mm/s. Top Surface: 6 mm/s. Infill: 12 mm/s. Travel: 15 mm/s. Initial Layer: 5 mm/s.

Support Tab Your positioning minimizes overhangs, but enable for head holes if facing down:

Generate Support: Enabled if overhangs >45° (threshold angle: 45°). Support Type: Normal (or Tree for organic, easy removal). Density: 10-15% (zigzag pattern). Interface Layers: 2-3; Density: 30%. Top/Bottom Contact Z Distance: 0.1 mm (easy separation without scarring surfaces).

Others Tab

Brim: Outer brim; Width: 5 mm; Gap: 0 mm (improves adhesion for PETG warping). Skirt Loops: 3; Distance: 3 mm. Prime Tower: Disabled (unless multimaterial). Ooze Prevention: Wipe Distance: 2 mm. Spiral Vase Mode: Disabled (not suitable for threads). Miscellaneous: Enable Independent Filament Settings if needed; no extra G-code unless custom.

Additional Tips

Enclosure: Use the 5M Pro's enclosure to maintain heat and reduce warping—keep door closed. Print Orientation: Your setup looks good (vertical threads avoid supports/sagging); rotate if needed to keep flat surfaces down. Post-Processing: Sand threads lightly if rough; test fit before full print. Testing: Print a calibration cube or thread test (e.g., M10 bolt) first. If stringing: Increase retraction by 0.2 mm or drop temp 5°C. If rough surfaces: Enable ironing fully and slow top speeds. High-Speed Notes: Your filament supports 600mm/s, but for threads/surfaces, stay under 100mm/s overall to avoid vibrations affecting detail. If pushing speed, ensure vibration compensation is on in printer firmware.

These should give clean, functional results. If issues persist, share print logs or photos for tweaks.
