Compact 2x50W Streaming Amplifier Powered by Raspberry Pi and Moode Audio Player

This compact and efficient 2x50W streaming amplifier is built around Moode Audio Player running on a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W. It supports a wide range of streaming protocols and services:

The amplifier module is the budget-friendly XY-AP50H from Sinilink, available on AliExpress or Temu for around $5 USD.

• XY-AP50H amplifier module (~$5 USD on AliExpress)
• Raspberry Pi Zero 1 W or Raspberry Pi zero 2 W
• Power supply (any 5–24V DC; I used an old 12V power brick)
• TZT LM2596 DC-to-DC Buck Converter (~$0.50 USD on AliExpress) — not needed if using a 5V power supply
• 14 × M2x5 self-tapping screws
• 2 × pairs of speaker terminals (black + red) (~$2 USD on AliExpress)
• MicroSD card flashed with Moode Audio Player (https://moodeaudio.org/)
• USB-C to Micro-USB cable with angled connectors
