I'm new to lockpicking and I am just getting started. I needed a tray and some sort of sorting system for the pins I got with the Adversary Lock I ordered online. And behold, what I think is the ultimate kit for lock picking with expandable trays to suit your needs. I use the blank top, and a pin tray mid, because that's all I could think of at the time I needed. It fits my lock, its accessories, and some tools. I hope to expand or improve the tray options as I figure out what I need or want to practice on. I'm new to this hobby. Maybe this isn't as helpful as I think and there are more varieties of situations this won't accommodate but its working for what limited exp I have and seems very expandable. Hence system...
The Trays are designed to be used in any slot and I've provided blanks so you can make your own trays to put in there. There is also a mortice housing blank that you can make changes to if you want it to house a core. Either standalone so you can put it in your hand or in the box.
The base uses an optional 8-32 x 5/16" lg heatset insert for the screw to screw into. I may use a thumb screw instead of the pan head. You can use a longer screw and a nut if you like.
If people want to expand on this or offer suggestions I'm interested. Be aware the tolerances on the lock opening in the base can be tight so make sure your printer is dialed in. Also sliding the components together should loosen them up.
This is the lock this kit was designed around https://learnlockpicking.com/product/7-pin-ultimate-adversary-practice-lock-copy/
