This spool bracket is designed to fit Intermetro Wire shelving with 29.5mm shelf height. The bracket has 131 mm of space and can fit up to two spools with spool diameters as small as 26mm. Total length is around 178mm, so you will need to print it diagonally on small print areas.

You could use this as a spool holder for printing but the design is focused more on storage.

Design idea came from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:33710 and http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:429519. I basically combined both together and modified the clamp to flex so that it would not break when attaching and removing it.

I added a slighty flexy version that is less prone to breaking but not as firm a fit. WireShelfSpoolBracketv2

I printed this using a printrbot simple metal and repetier.

Slice and print

Print time was around 90 minutes and Filament needed 11500mm
