My loft has diamond-shaped windows, which makes it tricky to mount standard extractor fans. During the summer, it gets uncomfortably hot, so I picked up some Bright Star extractor fans.

This design replaces the stock mounting system with a custom one that fits perfectly into my diamond-shaped loft windows. It secures the fan in place, allowing efficient airflow while keeping a neat appearance.

The mount is modular and can be printed in parts for easier assembly. It uses a retaining ring system to hold the fan housing firmly.

Supports: Minimal supports are required only on the window plate lip that locks into the window frame (only the one corner). The rest of the parts are support-free when oriented correctly (note: the orientation in the files may not always be the ideal print orientation).

Special Details: A sacrificial 0.4 mm layer is included in the screw holes for the electric cover (to be printed on its back) and in the fan mount screw holes. These print as bridges and can simply be cut out with an X-Acto knife or similar tool. No drilling needed. Note the suggested print orientation images.
