This is a num pad mount that acts like a button box for Sim Racing.
For anyone in the market for an affordable button box solution, I’ve designed a custom num pad mount specifically for aluminum sim rigs. The concept is simple, cost-effective, and easy to put together.
The mount is tailored to fit a particular num pad model, which costs around €10 on Amazon.
Printing the mount requires less than €2 worth of filament. Even if you don’t have direct access to a 3D printer, chances are someone you know does — just share the file/link with them and you’re good to go.
Mounting it to your sim rig is straightforward, requiring only a few washers, bolts, and T-Slot nuts. If you already own a Sim Labs rig, you’ll likely have spares on hand.
It’s a simple, low-cost project that transforms a basic num pad into a functional and neatly integrated button box.
