History: Ushering a new generation of Western Main Battle Tanks, the Challenger I appeared after the Chieftain, featuring Chobham armor protection and a 120mm rifled gun. Key improvements on this vehicle compared to its predecessor include a modern fire control system for pin-point accuracy and hydro-pneumatic suspension for smoother off-road mobility, both factors contributing to its ability to fire on the move. Impressively, the Challengers performed exceptionally during the Gulf War, with one recording the longest tank-to-tank kill of 5,100 meters (or 3.1 miles).

Notes: 1/100 scale model remixed from Guaro3D now includes rectifications & updates (i.e. accurate track treads, track teeth, undercarriage in-fill, driver's hatch, amended geometry, complete engine deck, tools add-on/re-positioning, new siren light, touch-ups, etc.) for aesthetic, historical accuracy, and easier print. Model saw combat in Operation Desert Storm, 1991 Gulf War. Turret should rotate and commander's cupola should fit now. If otherwise, please let us know. Up and at 'em lads!
