Insert to add rigidity and threads (Mason Jar size) to an ordinary "Foster" sized beer can or similar, enabling it to act as a cook/boiling water pot for Hikers/Backpackers

Print at 258-260 C in Polycarbonate
.10 layer height

100 percent infill
No supports , print with threads down
(Works in conjunction with thing:711529 ,Whistling mini pot lid)
After print finished , find empty "Foster" sized beer can (you might need a volunteer to help you) and cut it down with scissors to the size you want. Lightly sand the cut edge and the first 3/8 of an inch in the inside circumference of can.
Place insert threads down on firm flat surface. Apply a thin bead of silicone (the type used to seal aquariums ) on the
sanded edge of can. (The outside of can does not have to be sanded as in picture).
Gently Press/Wriggle/twist the cut can onto tapered edge of
insert until the can stops at just underneath bottom thread of insert. Let silicone dry, and enjoy a lightweight, inexpensive, cook/boil/simmer pot for use by backpackers/hikers etc. To keep your fingers from getting blistered, a layer of
fiberglass drywall tape, kevlar tape, or in some cases fiberglass wick can be wrapped in the area of can most likely to
be grabbed: keeps it relatively cool to touch..
