One more piece from my 'Inspired by Nature' series: A juicy creation that could be used as art decor as well as a lamp, when equipped with a light source inside.

The design includes three main parts: 🍊 The fruit flesh, print this in transparent material 🍊 The white peel part, which locks everything together. 🍊 The orange outer peel part

Assembly (No Citrus Juicer Required):

• Print six of the wedge-shaped inserts, slide them into the slots in the white peel part after the flesh part is in place on the inside.
• The flesh will now be locked while the wedges still protrude a bit on the opposite side.
• Here you press the orange peel part on, it locks so securely that even a determined fruit thief will struggle to take it apart :)

As a little extra feature, there is a threaded hole in the peel.

• You can screw in the stand part, so your orange sits proudly on the table.
• Or attach a hanger (grommet part), so it dangles gracefully from above. Both have a hole as cable feed trough, if used as a lamp.
• The axis goes right through the center of gravity, which means your orange will always hang perfectly level or balance neatly upright. No wobbles – just pure, geometrically precise citrus elegance. Have fun!
