This is a project of a yacht with features of a typical Dutch "Bakdekker". I am now busy printing the hull and fittings. A STEP file of the entire boat is available. !!! Everything is still in design phase and can still change !!!

the length is 645 mm, width is 209 mm and the scale is 1/10. I have not drawn the motor support and servo holder yet, I want to print the ship's hull and ship's cabin first.

1-7-2025 The hull printing is done. I used sturdy 4mm pins to center the hull parts in this design. Now printing the other parts. The filler on the bow comes from the first design which was not good. I have adjusted this and the STEP file.

13-7-2025 Hull and superstructure sanded and painted. Now working on gluing in the propeller shaft, rudder, engine mount, and servo holder (see last photo). It's coming along nicely. STEP file is updated. Can anyone help me find or make a figure of a standing rudder, 18 cm tall?

The ship model is almost finished; just a few small parts remain to be painted. That's why I'm publishing all the STL files. For this model, I used the following propellor schaft (type B 35cm) and rudder (It doesn’t matter which one, just use the tube and servo arm) ; see the links.

The electric motor I used is a 5-pole Johnson motor I bought some time ago. The dimensions of the electric motor are the same as an old-fashioned Mabuchi 540. Pictures of my model will follow within a few days.

July 19, 2025 Here are a few photos. What I still need to do is paint the bench the lady is sitting on or cover it with a piece of faux leather. And get it ready to sail, but that might take a while. I'm currently installing and configuring my new printer so it's ready for the next project: a pre-war Dutch "opduwer" (pushboat/mini tugboat), scale 1:10 or 1:6.
