While we're in-between houses, we're spending the summer at the in-laws (who live on a golf course). My daughter decided she wanted to sell Lemonade to the golfers (since they have to drive in front of their house to go between Hole 9, 10 or the clubhouse. To entice people to buy her lemonade, she decided she wanted to include a free golfball and Tee with each drink she sells (pretty smart of a 6 year old!). So of course, she asked me to 3D print some tees for her to include in her little goody bags for the golfers. It ends up being about the same price to print them as it does to just buy them from amazon, but she likes watching them print and enjoys telling people that she helped make them (aka - she picked the color filament haha).
But ANYWAY, reason for the remix: I couldn't get these to print standing up on my printer (kept saying the first layer was empty) so I oriented them laying down (WAY faster print time and the Tees are a lot more durable as well). I also corrected the issue with the first layer being empty and am sharing that as well. I have this plate filled with 53 instances of the Tee optimized for my flashforge 5m pro printer. Using High Speed PLA filament, I'm able to print 53 tees in 4 hours using a .4 nozzle at .15 layer height, 100% infill and auto snug supports. Figured I'd share so that you don't have to waste time filling the bed with as many instances as possible (auto fill bed only put 18 tees on my build plate). I'll take a picture of the tees if/after I print another batch since I forgot to take a picture before she took them off the build plate and headed out the door with them and the little box of golf balls she's found/collected so far this summer
