Welcome! This Korry Button is a very original replica, so if you're a flightsim enthusiast, you need to build your own! The building of it is very easy and in the following I will show you step by step how to do.
Short disclamer for beginners:
!!! I won't show you, how to wire the Korry button to Mobiflight (the program which connects your buttons etc. to your Simulator), but "Captain Bob" makes really good and easy tutorials on YouTube, where he shows step by step how to do. It is really easy, trust me. If you don't know anything about these things yet, no worries, here are some videos which helped me in the beginning:
- Get started with mobiflight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pS8KGfYRNrY
- How to connect buttons/switches: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYSeeh_l32Q
- How to connect LEDs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8TAPImRthU
Here are the parts you need for the Korry Button:
- jumber wires
- 2 LEDs (with the 2 colors your korry button shows) + resistors
- The button (8x8mm): https://ebay.us/m/zeufoH
Attention! There are two different types of Korry Buttons in an Airbus: Latching Buttons (the most, like fuel pumps, external power...) and momentarily buttons (like APU start). The Latching Buttons you have to press to activate, and to deactivate again, so they're staying in their position. The momentarily ones, they flip back into their position directly. So before buying this buttons, please make sure you buy the ones you need (you can test it in your simulator (like MSFS) to see which one you need).
- foils for printing (like this one: https://amzn.eu/d/fyKYpvW , there are some for laser printers and some for inkjet printers, please check which one you need)
- black transparent folder (like this one: https://amzn.eu/d/cxu8Pfw )
- the 3D-printed files
! That are just the parts you need for the Korry Button itself. To wire it to mobiflight, you will need a Arduino board too, like the Arduino Mega 2560).
