In situations where you don't want direct light, but do want a light pointed at something, a diffuser will allow light to pass through without creating harsh shadows and blocking direct light from hitting your eyes. Print using white or translucent filament, since opaque material will just block all the light.

The default model is for a Bostitch VLF100 swing arm lamp, but there are parameters in the `.scad` file that will let you adjust sizing as needed. I highly recommend fiddling with it, setting `vaseMode` to `yes` and printing in vase mode (or “spiralize outer contour”) to use as little filament as possible while you dial in the sizes you want.
