With: a water pump, some aquarium hardware, a little bit of engineering, and the beautiful power of miracle grow.. the magic of aquaponics is in your hands, AND ON YOUR COUNTERTOPS! You will be able to grow almost anything you'll ever need in the kitchen- from Herbs to Peppers in this simple setup.

This thing is ready to print! For best quality print at 0.1 (or smaller if you can). Also it's recommended to do 35% infill OR LESS, really anything more is not needed.

To make this project you'll need:

• PLNTR & components printed
• A DC water pump, like this one-

• 8mm aquarium tubing (outer dia.)
• Aquarium rocks
• Miracle grow
  -T5 Florescent lamp (grow lamp)
  Optional: Grow lamp, hooked up underneath cabinets for extra growth :D

Instructions
First off, print BOTH the PLNTR and its Auto-siphon Pipe, for they are crucial parts in the assembly. OK, take the DC water pump.
With the 8mm aquarium tube, connect the bottom spout from the PLNTR to the 'in' port of the pump. Then, connect the 'out' port of the pump to one or both of the top spouts on the PLNTR. This is how the water will cycle- in through the bottom of the pump, out through the top. Next, take the Auto-siphon tube ( looks liek a little straw ). The short end of the tube will go into the hole, if it does not fit sand down the outer edges with sandpaper. The long end of he tube should be facing downward. Seal the connection with super glue. Now, take the Aquarium rocks and fill the basin to the brim, be careful not to break off the tube. Lastly, fill the container with the proper mixture of miracle grow and water. It should drain to the bottom. Keep filling until the pump can run without strain.

Congrats! you've officially created your very own Aquaponic system!
