There are some expensive gadgets to align taps perpendicular to a drilled surface, and I needed to prevent myself from buying one.

This guide uses a $10-15 ratcheting tap handle & two small zip ties. The SCAD file can be adjusted as needed, but it will probably need a few tries to get the interface between the cone and the top cylinder right.
