Descrição
Scanner booth made from laser cut acrylic sheets and 3D printed ABS blocks.
Instruções
Cut the flat parts from any suitable material, I used 3mm acrylic and laser cut it. You could use plywood or MDF and saw it, even stiff card would do the job. The sides are plain rectangles and suited to the A3 sized calibration sheets. The base has some shape but should still be fairly easy to cut out by hand if necessary.
Print the blocks on a 3D printer, I used an UP with default settings and white ABS. All the slots are 3.2mm width to suit the 3mm acrylic I used.
Tape or bluetak the printed calibration sheets onto the side sheets.
Glue the lower 4 blocks to the base, then slot in the sides and clip the top block in place.
The combination of blocks and stiff sides hold the booth nice and square for scanning.
A STEP file of the assembly is in the downloads.
