I've also shrouded the exhaust to direct it away from the user, there is a screen inside to hold a filter material as well as a drip edge to stop collected mist from leaking out as easily. In test uses all it needed was a little bit of tissue paper stuffed into the shroud to capture the mist. There is provision to attach a filter holder to it, with small holes for retaining pins or wires.

Like the others out there, fill this with water to cover the bottom of the funnel so it doesn't vent out the funnel.

When making other funnels or airbrush bushings: The funnel socket on the lid is a nominal 12mm ID. My funnels are tapered by 0.6mm or so to make them easier to insert, in fact I set it in place by using hot air to soften the socket and press fit in . Airbrush bushing socket is a nominal 18mm diameter, design your brush bushings accordingly. The airbrush I use has a 12mm OD, and the bushing has a notch in it to receive the reservoir so it stays upright.
