Modelo 3D Bitaxe Robot Stand por 3DPrintAndVR no Thingiverse

Descrição

Here's a 100% original Bitaxe stand that looks like a robot. It was designed to print easily without needing any support. It should work with any current Bitaxe: Max, Ultra, Supra or Gamma.

In order to transfer the display to the robot's head, you need a male-to-female 4-pin 2.54mm DuPont cable (the one I use is 150mm, but could possibly be shorter). There are also cable kits and single-wire extenders that might work. When you put the display in the robot's head, insert it from the back, with the cable already attached to it. The hole the display goes in gradually gets smaller toward the front, so just push the display in until it wedges in tightly.

The hole size to mount the Bitaxe fits these screws well (#4 x 3/8" Wood Screw - used on cases from CryptoCloaks) and I think should work well with these screws (3mm x 8mm Phillips Pan Head Self-Tapping Screw - what Skot uses).

The heatsink in the photos is the "Silenx IXN40C 40mm iXtrema Pro Chipset Cooler" (found on Amazon, Walmart and eBay) and it comes with a 40mm fan. So I kept my original Bitaxe fan for the front and used the Silenx fan on the back. However, the Silenx fan is 12v and doesn't work with the 5v power from the Bitaxe, so I used an old 12v adapter I had laying around to power it. A fan on the back really down the voltage regulator a ton (from over 90° to under 55°). I turned the fan backwards so it would blow air rather than suck air.

I also recently added the front mount at the following link with the Silenx. I found the PCB was bending a bit when I didn't use the mount, maybe because I tightened the screws too much? It seemed like the mount might help reduce the stress on the PCB board. Here the link: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1143104-chipset-cooler-mounting-bracket-for-bitaxe-gamma#profileId-1145806

I purchased an "M3 Metric Screws Bolts and Nuts and Washers Assortment Kit" and used some of the shorter screws of various lengths to attach the heatsink to the Bitaxe and some longer screws to attach the rear fan to the stand.

If you use this stand with a rear fan, you'll want to put the fan on first (so you can access the screws), then attach the Bitaxe.
