A platform designed to facilitate multi-level combat in grid-based tabletop roleplaying systems like Pathfinder. A slot on one side fits a six- or twenty-sided die for tracking height or depth, while the raised grid prevents miniatures or tokens from moving around too much and allows miniatures to pass underneath.

This is the third iteration of the floating platform, and I will likely continue to change the design as I test it with my group. To build the platform, you'll need a thick plastic glue suitable for use with PLA. Print each leg and the platform itself, then glue each leg to a notch in the corner of the platform.

I designed this project in Google Sketchup, sliced it into GCode with Slic3r, then printed it in natural PLA using a Printrbot LC and Repetier Host. I then glued the legs to the platform using Games Workshop thick glue.
