Descrição

This DIY Reciprocating Linear Model is a compact and functional demonstration of linear reciprocating motion powered by a simple USB connection. The mechanism is easy to assemble and requires minimal additional components, making it an excellent project for enthusiasts, educators, or anyone curious about mechanical motion.

To build this project, you will need the following parts: 3D Printed Components: body, protection, rod, rod 2, small wheel, large wheel. List of STL files to print (included in the download). Parts 01 (body) and 02 (protection) need to be assembled using short Ø3 mm pins.

Additional parts needed: 1x Ball Bearing 623 (3x10x4 mm) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005083414639.html 1x Smooth Shaft Ø3 mm 1x Screw M2 with Nut Mini Nails (used as pivots) 1x RF-300CA-1D390 Motor (commonly found in CD drives) https://pl.aliexpress.com/item/1005007495412104.html 1x USB 3.1 Type C (female connector) https://pl.aliexpress.com/item/1005006468181440.html

Power Supply: Power the model using a standard USB cable (like a phone charger). Compatible with both USB wall chargers and computer USB ports.

The motor is powered via a USB connection, converting rotary motion into reciprocating linear motion through the 3D-printed mechanism. This design is highly compact and utilizes widely available parts, making it an accessible and low-cost project.

Print the STL files using your 3D printer. Assemble 01 (body) and 02 (protection) using short Ø3 mm pins. Mount the motor, ball bearing, and smooth shaft according to the provided schematics. Use mini nails as pivots to connect the moving parts. Attach the USB Type C connector to the motor, allowing easy power input. Secure the mechanism using the M2 screw and nut.

This model runs on a USB power source, making it convenient to use with any standard phone charger or computer USB port.

This mechanism can be used for: Educational demonstrations of mechanical principles. DIY projects for hobbyists. Integration into larger mechanical systems.

Feel free to download the STL files and start building! Let me know if you have any questions or feedback. Enjoy crafting your Reciprocating Linear Model! 😊
