Modelo 3D Harbor Breeze Meshtastic Node Evolution por triggermeister no Thingiverse

Descrição

To be honest, the only thing left is the solar panel at this point. So, why not just build a whole one from scratch? I think it looks very standard with just a solar panel and an antenna. Here is the link to the solar light: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Harbor-Breeze-60LM-Solar-Flood-Light-0-6-Watt-Black-Solar-LED-Flood-Light/1002689960

This is designed to:

  • holds up to 3 x 18650 batteries. You can use only 1, 2 or 3
  • has an air-gap, so the battery is not directly on the exterior housing, so wind does not "suck" the heat out of the battery like a heat sink
  • is only slightly deeper than the original
  • eliminated the push button, so there is less of chance of water entry
  • capable for using the standard RAK meshtastic starter kit or the compact board.

Next Steps:

  • Monitor the batteries during cold weather.
  • Add the BOM for the materials used
  • Maybe just buy a 5 pack of solar panels and print the whole thing
  • make a different wall mount to support the extra weight.

Printed:

  • Utilizing PETG
  • Used 3M adhesive for plugging antenna hole. You can probably use epoxy or silicone sealer.
