Fully re-designed version of my previous "Throw-Yo" printable yoyo; now with some wild profiles.
Better proportions and balance with a cool new look. NEO is best printed in resin if you want to hit the 60+ gram weight, since at 100% fill and PLA it will only weigh around ~35g assembled. NEO V2 Can be printed to hit pretty much whatever weight you want, since the diameter is larger. Highly recommend doing the first 5-10mm on the bottom as solid fill, 1.2mm walls all around and at least 60% fill; this will make sure more weight is on the rim, which should help with stability when spinning.
Uses a standard yoyo bearing, RTV silicone pads (DIY, though standard pads might fit), an M3 bolt and nut (press-fit+glue into the body).
This time around I've included the .stp file in case anyone wants to mess around with their own designs based on this one. Since I have the files now I'll probably make a few additional revisions of this one; so check back here to see if any new designs show up for the NEO.
If anyone is curious the font used is "Nippon Tech", and open type font.
