DIY controller for virtual pinball - 2 Pieces that will need to be glued + 2 Lids / bottoms with screw holes.
Built using an EG Start DIY arcade kit from amazon, featuring an extra hole for a plunger.
The flipper buttons are placed almost exactly where a real pinball tables would be, not having a slanted table makes it feel a bit different but the height SHOULD be spot on.
I have also included an _altcontrols version of V2 with the magnasave buttons on top rather than next to the flippers. It's better for Arcade games this way + people would mistakenly mess up the lighting on VPX tables.
If you intend to add a physical plunger, will also need macro switches. quickly designed a bracket to hold the switches I used, as well as a piece to slip onto the plunger to hit the switch. In the EG Start button kit was 1 extra wire with the board connections. I stripped one end of the extra wire and soldered it to the macro switch and mapped this to Analog left (down) for some games that support this. I also
Warning, the top surface is very thin, use a few washers on the screw to screw in the joystick to not poke through, or use glue instead.

Originally I added a working coinslot and piggybank compartment but I removed it from the final model to simplify things, and it was ultimately pointless. Although I did consider that you could use another macro switch to be pushed in when a coin is inserted, forcing players to actually use real money to start a game if desired.
