Do you need an extra life? Now you can carry a tiny 1-Up mushroom with you wherever you go!
This is a little mushroom, know as 1-up from the Super Mario series. If you find it, it will give you one extra life. There are two versions: A solid one for decoration and a mushroom with a hole for a keychain. They are both in the 3mf file (Bambu Studio or Orca Slicer) and you need a MMU or AMS for the print.
Though it is tiny this model will take a long time to print. The reason is the colour change in every layer and the flushing of the colours. Especially the change from black to white needs a lot of purging. The results are a high flushing volume and a wide print tower. I recommend you print more than one model at once to reduce the overall filament waste.
Print preparation:
Make sure that your print bed is clean and grease-free and use quality brand filaments.
Print settings:
Use the 0.16mm settings for everything. Adjust the flushing volume and the print tower to your filaments. A change from dark to light colours needs a lot of purging. Support is not necessary but a brim at least for the cap is highly recommended. For best results reduce the speeds and use variable layer height. This will give your print a smooth look on all round surfaces.
Assembly:
Put the cap on the stem. It is a light press-fit. You can turn the stem afterwards if the eyes are facing in the wrong direction. Adding a tiny drip of glue to keep the stem in position is optional.
