Battery Box with Slide Lock Button:
You will need:
- Spring from an old pen (length: 20-25mm, diameter: 4-4.6mm).
- A piece of filament for the hinges (seal the ends with a lighter).
(Hint: Some ballpoint pens have longer springs, like 30mm, if this is your case, you can press spring with your hand for a few seconds to make it smaller)
Two versions of boxes, for AA and 18650 type batteries:

Storage space for the AA battery version:
- 9x AA Batteries
- 12x AAA Batteries
- 3x CR2025 (3V) Batteries
- 9x AA Batteries

Storage space for the 18650 battery version:
- 12x 18650 Batteries
- 12x 18650 Batteries

Print Settings (Same for both versions):
Material - PLA
Flow Rate - 0.98 (98%)
Nozzle diameter - 0.6 mm (recomended)
Layer Height - 0.3 mm
Perimeters - 2 (with 0.4 nozzle use 3 perimeters)
Infill - 30%
Support - No
Print Speed - 30mm/s
Print orientation - As in .stl files
Print settings for Batt_insert.stl (Settings below is just a time saver, not necessary):
Layer height: 0.4mm (with 0.6 nozzle)
Set parameter Solid_infill_threshold_area to zero (disable it).

Note: The color of the slider button in the pictures is for illustration purposes only,
the lid is printed with the slider print-in-place (with the same filament).
This is a remix, the differences between the remix and the original are:
Insert also for AAA batteries, sliding lock button, filament can be used for hinges, added top logo, no glue parts, change in overall dimensions and faces due to a different concept... but with the same great design look. (Original under license: CC-BY-NC).
