If you've ever wanted to grow a square lemon, then this is for you!
Recently, I have been thinking about funny shaped fruit and have been wanting to make my own. Soon realizing that I had everything needed to do so, I gave it a try. I designed a small, two piece, box-shaped mold that is strong, snaps together, has a hole for the stem of the fruit, and printed it. I started molding lemons, as I already had a lemon tree. To use the mold, I snapped it together around the lemon, and built a support to keep it in the air. Then I was able to sit back and let the lemon do the rest. I harvested the first one three days ago, and was very excited to see that it worked!
